Elaboration invitation

Your invitations should include the name of the person/people who are having the party, the name of the person you are sending the invite to, where the party is and an address , what time the party starts, what time the party finishes, RSVP information, and any additional information. For example, if you were having a party at an ice rink, you might want to include 'Wear warm clothes!'

What RSVP Means

The term RSVP comes from the French expression "répondez s'il vous plaît", meaning "please respond". If RSVP is written on an invitation it means the invited guest must tell the host whether or not they plan to attend the party. It does not mean to respond only if you're coming, and it does not mean respond only if you're not coming (the expression"regrets only" is reserved for that instance). It means the host needs a definite head count for the planned event, and needs it by the date specified on the invitation.

                                                              Dear Secretary of Education

It is with great pleasure that I write to invite you to the  launch of the Augusto Ruschi school . The  launch will be marked by a lecture entitled Education in modern times to be given by teachers from  eighth grade.

  It will be a pleasure to have your presence on Saturday at one o'clock pm. The evening will commence with a private drinks reception from 6:30pm. Followed by the lecture at 7:30pm. We recommend to wear business casual clothing ( a sport coat (such as a blue blazer), a white or colored shirt, tie, slacks, and loafer-style shoes, dress ,theater suit).
